Junichi Nakahara

Around 18 months ago I bought "100 Years of Fashion Illustration". I just *love* this book.

One of my favourite images is this one by Junichi Nakahara, c1960.


Perhaps not a typical fashion illustration? I adored the montage effect with the face on top so much, last year I was inspired to do a couple of my own versions, one based on a song (by Lisa Mitchell) and the other on Little Red Riding Hood.

    Oh, I like your illustrations, so glad to see them here :) I can see why Nakahara's illustration would inspire you, it's gorgeous!
